Frequently Asked Questions
Will parking be available?
Valet parking will be available for $16 per vehicle; however, we recommend taking a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft. Driving downtown Chicago is no joke!
Will there be grass/gravel/dirt or other heel-unfriendly surfaces?
Thankfully, our venue has tile floors and paved sidewalks out front. Please watch out for uneven paving on the city’s sidewalks!
Will there be a hotel block?
We will have a couple of hotel blocks from which to choose. Details will be posted closer to the wedding date.
Is there a Dress Code?
Our goal is for you to feel as happy and comfortable as possible so please do not feel like you have to stick to a strict dress code! If you are looking for guidance the “vibe” is garden formal. Think dressy sundresses or slacks with a fun top for women and slacks and a button down for men.
Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?
We will strive to accommodate dietary restrictions. Note that our venue will be preparing all meals in a shared kitchen and while cross-contamination will be avoided to the best of their ability, allergens may be present in the kitchen. Please reach out to Carrie to discuss if you have any concerns.
Will the wedding/reception be indoors or outdoors?
We love our venue because it has a roof and walls that open/close. Our dream (weather permitting) is to have the roof and walls open for part if not all of the evening. However, should it be raining, cold, or excessively hot, we shall close the roof/walls. Should the room be closed the venue has heat and AC available.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! (Plenty of water will also be available!)
Who should I contact with additional questions leading up to the wedding?
Please feel free to text either Carrie or Avery. Should you prefer email you can reach us at [email protected]
